Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas will be in Dublin on Thursday and Friday, 6 and 7 December, to participate in the 19th OSCE Ministerial Council.
On the first day of the proceedings, Mr. Kourkoulas will participate in the Plenary Session, during which delegation heads will make statements. This will be followed by a working luncheon hosted by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office – the Foreign Minister of Ireland – during which there will be a discussion of the Helsinki+40 process, which concerns the future orientation of the OSCE.
On the second day of the Ministerial Council, the Plenary Session will complete its proceedings with statements from delegation heads and the adoption of decisions.
The Irish Presidency’s objective is the adoption of decisions concerning all three dimensions of the OSCE: the politico-military dimension, the economic and environmental dimension, and the human dimension.
