Deputy FM Kourkoulas to participate in the 27th Council of BSEC Foreign Ministers

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas will be in Istanbul on Saturday, 15 December 2012, to attend the 27th Council of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Foreign Ministers.

The Council’s agenda includes a discussion of BSEC-EU relations, as well as of the organization’s economic agenda and its individual goals for promoting regional economic cooperation.

Mr. Kourkoulas will participate in the Council plenary session, during which the heads of delegations will make statements, and decisions will be adopted. He will then attend a working luncheon hosted by the BSEC Chairman, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

On the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Kourkoulas will be received by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation Peter Mihalos will accompany Mr. Kourkoulas.
