Deputy FM Kouvelis meets with the new Secretary General of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (12 April 2011)

Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis met on Tuesday, 12 April, with the new Secretary General of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Ms. Orsalia Kalantzopoulos. The BSTDB is based in Thessaloniki and is a cooperating member of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

The meeting looked at the prospects for the important development role the BSTDB can play in the wider Black Sea region and in Greece, supporting basic infrastructure and sustainable development initiatives. It was also underscored that the BSTDB can serve as a springboard for Greek enterprises extending their activities into the Black Sea region.
