Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis will carry out a visit to Belgrade, Serbia, on 31 March and 1 April 2011, for meetings with Serbian government officials and representatives of the Serbian and Greek business communities in Serbia. Mr. Kouvelis will discuss issues of further improvement of Greek-Serbian economic cooperation and the prospects for strengthening and expanding the investment activities of Greek enterprises in Serbia.
Specifically, on 31 March, Mr. Kouvelis will speak at a Greek-Serbian business forum on economic developments and the prospects of Greek-Serbian economic relations.
On Friday, 1 April, Mr. Kouvelis will meet with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic and the Chairman of the Serbian Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Dragoljub Mićunović. After talks with Finance and Regional Development Minister Nebojsa Ciric, Mr. Kouvelis will visit Nebojsa Tower – the site of Rigas Feraios’s torture – the restoration of which was funded in part (70%) by the Greek state.
