Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis will be in Thessaloniki on Friday, 13 May, to deliver the keynote address (13:00) at the 4th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference, on “Green Technologies: Energy, Transport, Agricultural Production”. The Conference is being co-hosted by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), the French Consulate General in Thessaloniki, and the French Institute in Thessaloniki, at the CERTH Conference Centre (Vergina Amphitheatre).
The conference is aimed at pointing up recent technological and scientific advancements in the sectors of energy, transport and agricultural production, and it will also provide an opportunity for a meeting between the business community and the Greek and French Research communities, as well as for utilization of research findings in production and development.
The conference will focus on the innovative use of green technologies and methods for producing energy (renewable sources, isolation and use of carbon dioxide), in agricultural production (restructuring of the production process through collaboration clusters), and transport (management of urban traffic, alternative forms of urban transport).
