At 14:30 on Wednesday, 24 November 2010, Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis will meet at his office with the UN Under-Secretary General and Executive Director of the UNEP, Mr. Achim Steiner, with whom he will discuss issues concerning sustainable development in Greece and the wider region. Mr. Steiner is carrying out a visit to Greece at the invitation of the International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), within the framework of the Greek BSEC Chairmanship.
At 18:00, Mr. Kouvelis will deliver a welcome speech at the annual ICBSS lecture, at the King George Palace, where Mr. Steiner will deliver this year’s lecture: “Towards a Green Economy: Opportunities in the wider Black Sea region”.
