Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis will open a photo exhibition on “UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Properties of Visegrad Group countries and Greece” at 19:00 on Tuesday, 12 April 2011, at the Foreign Ministry (1 Akadimias St.).
The exhibition is being organized by the Greek National Committee for UNESCO, in collaboration with the embassies of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, within the framework of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the “Visegrad Group”.
The objective of the exhibition is to contribute toward greater understanding of the importance of world heritage and encourage countries to make a more coordinated effort to protect their properties.
