Deputy FM Kouvelis visits Greece’s Corallia Clusters Initiative

Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis visited the headquarters of the Corallia Hellenic Technology Clusters Initiative on Monday, 11 April, and met with the leadership of the initiative.

The meeting included a presentation of the Corallia Clusters Initiative and a discussion of synergies for developing innovation clusters in high-tech and knowledge-intensive sectors, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness, promoting Greek economic activities abroad and creating a high-added-value model for provision of services, for implementation in the sectors of technology; food and agricultural products; tourism; and general exports.

Also discussed were the ways in which the Foreign Ministry can assist the effort to strengthen the competitiveness of Greek exports by capitalizing on its network of missions abroad (embassies, consulates, commercial affairs bureaus), its know-how, the organization of relevant webinars, and the encouragement of networks in the direction of better cooperation among Greek export, technological and innovative enterprises with foreign collaborators, investors, buyers and distributors abroad.
