Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos visited the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles (Bozart) on Tuesday, 21 January 2014, ahead of the opening of the “Nautilus” exhibition, which is being held within the framework of the Hellenic Presidency’s cultural programme.
On exiting the museum, Mr. Venizelos made the following statement:
“It is a truly inspired and exemplary exhibition, a delicate conversation between authentic ancient artefacts and works of contemporary art that have the Greece of the sea as their common point of reference; the Greece of shipping; the Greece with an open horizon. And this open horizon is what shows our potential following the crisis.”
