Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos made the following statement regarding yesterday’s abduction and murder of two French journalists in Mali:
“We express our abhorrence of this barbarous act. We condemn in the most unequivocal manner the terrorist, murderous attack on two French journalists.
On behalf of the government and the Greek people, I express deep condolences to the families of the victims and our support for the government of the French Republic.”
