Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos made the following statement regarding the deadly attack that was carried out yesterday in Kabul:
“We express our abhorrence and unequivocal condemnation of the barbaric terrorist attack that took place yesterday at a restaurant in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, resulting in the death of two EUPOL mission personnel, many members of diplomatic missions and international organizations, and Afghani citizens.
The Greek government expresses its deep condolences to and support for the families of the victims of this heinous attack.”
