Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, as an honored guest and keynote speaker, will address the Economist Conference on “The sea of Europe: Routing the map for economic growth,” at 20:30 on Monday, 17 February, at Thessaloniki’s Hyatt Regency hotel. This conference is taking place under the auspices of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The subject of the conference overlaps the Hellenic Presidency’s horizontal priority of EU Maritime Policies, and the conference is aimed at exploring the potential provided by European maritime-related policies in the sectors of energy, digital networks and transport for boosting economic growth in Europe.
