On Tuesday, 6 May, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos will participate in the proceedings of the 2nd Greece-United Arab Emirates Joint Interministerial Committee, which is being held at the Astir Palace Resort, on Monday and Tuesday, 5 and 6 May.
The second day’s proceedings will open at 10:00, with a bilateral meeting between Mr. Venizelos and the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Following the one-on-one meeting, there will be expanded talks between the two delegations, after which Mr. Venizelos will participate in the plenary of the Joint Interministerial Committee.
Mr. Venizelos and the UAE Foreign Minister will then attend the ceremony for the signing of the agreed minutes, and, at about 11:45, they will make statements to the media.
Finally, Mr. Venizelos will host a working luncheon in honor of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the UAE delegation.
