Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos will be in Paris on Monday, 13 January 2014, for consultations with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius.
In addition to issues of bilateral relations, the agenda for the meeting includes European policy issues, with emphasis on the policy priorities of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European perspective of the Western Balkans, and the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, and North Africa.
On Tuesday, 14 January, Mr. Venizelos will participate in a joint session of the French Senate’s European Affairs and Defence & Foreign Affairs Committees, at which, in the presence of members of the Greek-French Friendship Group, he will present the Hellenic Presidency’s priorities.
