Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos will carry out a visit to Moldova on Tuesday, 8 April.
Mr. Venizelos will be received by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, and will have successive meeting, in his capacity as president of the Council of the European Union, with Prime Minister Iurie Leancă, Speaker of Parliament Igor Corman, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman.
The agenda for Mr. Venizelos’ meetings includes issues of bilateral relations, European policy issues – with emphasis on the Hellenic Presidency’s policy priorities – Moldova’s European perspective, and the latest regional developments.
