🇬🇷 DFM Papadopoulou visited RoK and held political consultations with 🇰🇷DFM Chung Byung-won in order to foster bilateral relations and P2P exchanges. The 2 Ministers discussed a wide range of global issues, including Eastern Mediterranean Middle East Ukraine & Indo-pacific. During her 3day stay DFM Papadopoulou visited the Demilitarized Zone, participated in a Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Wall of Greek Fallen Soldiers and met with representatives from Academia, Think Tanks as well as His Eminence Metropolitan of Korea. This visit marks the first time that political consultations have been held at a Deputy Foreign Minister level and builds upon the positive dynamic of the bilateral relations between Greece and the Republic of Korea, following the recent visit of the Prime Minister Duck-soo HAN.
