Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas and Alternate Foreign Minister Mariliza Xenogiannakopoulou will be in Brussels on Monday, 22 November 2010, to participate in the proceedings of the EU General Affairs and Foreign Affairs Councils (GAC/FAC).
Items on the FAC agenda include relations with strategic partners, the situations in Sudan and Myanmar, and preparations for the EU-Africa, EU-India, EU-Russia and OSCE Summit Meetings. The GAC agenda will focus on preparations for the 16-17 December European Council and the presentation of the Commission’s 2011 work programme.
On Monday morning, at the European Policy Center (EPC) , Mr. Droutsas will deliver a speech on “A new European agreement on the Balkans and Turkey: Greece’s role”.
