Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos met at the Foreign Ministry today with a delegation from the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).
During the meeting, which took place in a warm atmosphere, AHEPA Supreme President John Grossomanides presented the organization’s multifaceted activities, while Mr. Avramopoulos congratulated Mr. Grossomanides on AHEPA’s national and social work throughout the economic crisis, as well as on the organization’s consistent promotion of and support for Greek foreign policy stances in the U.S. and Canada.
Among the issues discussed were AHEPA’s contribution to the promotion of the Greek economy’s comparative advantages and the attraction of foreign investments from the U.S. and Canada to Greece, as well as increased tourist flows from these countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Tsiaras and Ministry officials also participated in the meeting.
