Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos met at the Foreign Ministry today, 12 April 2013, with Serbian Ambassador Dragan Županjevac.
During the meeting, the Serbian Ambassador briefed Mr. Avramopoulos on the results of the latest round in the Belgrade-Pristina talks, also thanking the Minister for Greece’s firm support for Serbia’s European perspective, particularly in view of Greece’s upcoming EU Presidency in the first half of 2014. Mr. Avramopoulos assured Mr. Županjevac of the strong ties of friendship historically linking the two peoples.
