Foreign Minister Stavros Dimas and Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Dollis met today with a delegation from the Panhellenic Federation of Hoteliers and a representative of the hotel agencies of Northern Greece.
The meeting looked at promotion of the Greek tourism product and visa policy, which can be a useful tool for strengthening the flow of tourists into Greece.
The representatives of the hotelier organizations were briefed on the actions the Foreign Ministry has taken to speed up the visa issuing process, as well as on the efforts being made to increase the number of visas issued in countries that are emerging markets for tourism in Greece.
