Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas will be in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, 9 June 2011, to participated in a meeting of the Contact Group on Libya. The issues to be discussed include the political process and coordination of the participants on achieving a political solution under the aegis of the United Nations, as well as long-term humanitarian aid.
A team of Greek diplomatic and medical personnel has been in Benghazi since 22 May 2011, and a Greek humanitarian aid shipment arrived in Libya on 28 May 2011.
