Greece is standing by the Egyptian people and supports the transition process under way in Egypt. The building of strong democratic institutions and an open civil society will reaffirm Egypt’s leading role in the region’s stability and will lay the foundations for a dynamic course of development and progress to the benefit of the Egyptian people.
