Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas will travel to Rome tomorrow, 24 May 2011, for a series of bilateral meetings. Mr. Droutsas will meet in the morning with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, with whom he is to discuss issues of mutual interest, including developments in North Africa and the Middle East, the migration issue, developments in the Balkans, the European strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian macroregion, as well as other, bilateral issues.
Mr. Droutsas’s itinerary also includes meetings with the Speaker of the Italian Parliament, Gianfranco Fini, and the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Lamberto Dini.
