Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met in Berlin yesterday, Sunday, 22 March 2015, with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
During the meeting, which took place in a very constructive climate, the two Ministers discussed the whole range of Greek-German relations and looked at ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation in the sectors of the economy, justice, science, technology, education, and youth.
Messrs. Kotzias and Steinmeier also discussed major issues of European, regional and global interest, including the crisis in Ukraine, the situation in the Western Balkans, and energy developments in the wider region.
Finally, Mr. Kotzias invited Mr. Steinmeier to visit Athens, and the German Foreign Minister immediately accepted the invitation.
