Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met today, Wednesday, 25 March, with the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, within the framework of Deputy Prime Minister Yannis Dragasakis’s visit to China.
During their meeting, which took place in a very warm climate, they looked at the whole range of relations between the two countries and expressed the shared will to further deepen and expand those relations.
In this context, the formulation of a joint action plan for 2015-2017 and a series of proposals for cooperation in the sectors of the economy and investments, and culture and education were discussed. There was also a detailed consideration of the European Union’s relations with the People’s Republic of China.
Finally, Mr. Wang extended an invitation to Mr. Kotzias to carry out a two-day visit to the People’s Republic of China in his capacity as Foreign Minister.
