Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias today had a working luncheon with the French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Harlem Désir, at the Greek Embassy in Paris.
Mr. Kotzias briefed Mr. Désir on the proceedings of the Geneva Conference on Cyprus and thanked him for France's support in the efforts to resolve the Cyprus issue.
The two officials also discussed the latest developments in the Western Balkans and Greece's relations with its neighbouring countries, and it was agreed to continue their consultations and cooperation on regional issues.
Finally, Mr. Désir thanked Mr. Kotzias for his participation in tomorrow's International Conference on the Middle East, which is hosted by France within the framework of an initiative it has taken to promote the peace process.
