Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias held telephone talks with the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, and Bulgaria, Daniel Mitov, on the matter of the situation taking shape in Europe following the result of the British referendum.
Mr. Kotzias also talked in depth a short while ago with the Foreign Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, who briefed Mr. Kotzias on the results of yesterday’s meeting, in Berlin, of the Foreign Ministers of the six founding states of the European Economic Community. Mr. Kotzias set out for his Italian counterpart the Greek government’s positions on the latest developments following the British referendum and he exchanged views with Mr. Gentiloni ahead of his participation in the working luncheon being held tomorrow in Warsaw, at the initiative of the Polish Foreign Minister.
