Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis conferred by phone today with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who congratulated Mr. Lambrinidis on his new post.
During their talk, the two Ministers stressed the mutual will of the two countries to consistently deepen Greek-Russian cooperation on both the bilateral and international levels.
They also looked at issues concerning the further enhancement and deepening of the content of upcoming bilateral meetings and completion of the contractual framework for cooperation.
