In a follow-up to a proposal he submitted at the June General Affairs Council, Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis will carry out a joint visit to Albania on Monday, 12 September 2011, with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.
Messrs. Lambrinidis and Frattini, together with representatives of the EU, will meet with Albanian President Bamir Topi, Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto, and opposition leader Edi Rama.
