Ambassador emeritus Stelios Malikourtis, a distinguished career diplomat, passed away on Friday, 9 August 2013.
During his career, he distinguished himself for his ethos, diligence, sense of responsibility and love for the homeland.
Ambassador Stelios Malikourtis’ posts included Greek Ambassador to Dublin and Tirana, and he served his country in Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kuwait and Romania.
His death is a loss to the country’s Diplomatic Service. The Foreign Ministry’s leadership and all of Stelios Malikourtis’ colleagues express their deep condolences to his loved ones.
