Within the framework of the regular meetings between Greece and Turkey, the Foreign Ministry’s Secretary General, Ambassador Vassilis Kaskarelis, will meet on Thursday, 14 November 2012, with Turkish Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
During the political consultations, the two sides will discuss issues concerning the preparations for the upcoming Greek-Turkish High Level Cooperation Council, which, as agreed during the Turkish Foreign Minister’s recent visit to Athens, is to take place early in 2013. They will also discuss bilateral and European issues of mutual interest, as well as regional and international developments.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kourkoulas will also meet with Under Secretary Sinirlioğlu to exchange views on European issues.
