Foreign Ministry spokesman Gregory Delavekouras stated the following in reply to journalists’ questions regarding Kastelorizo, following an interview of Turkish Foreign Minister Davutoglu:
“The positions set out in the interview are Turkey’s well known positions.
Greece’s positions are well known as well.
For Greece, the aim of the exploratory contacts is the delimitation of the continental shelf between the two countries throughout its length, from Thrace to Kastelorizo. This is obvious.”
