Foreign Ministry spokesman’s statement on today’s agreements within the framework of the Belgrade-Pristina talks

Foreign Ministry spokesman Gregory Delavekouras made the following statement regarding the agreements reached today within the framework of the Belgrade-Pristina talks:

“We welcome the two agreements reached today with the framework of the latest round in the Belgrade-Pristina talks, which are being carried out under the auspices of the European Union.

The agreements are of particular importance because they allow for the participation of Kosovo – with Serbia’s consent – in regional organizations, as well as a return to complete freedom of movement in northern Kosovo.

We welcome the constructive approach exhibited by the two sides and their dedication to the principles of regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations, which are fundamental principles of the European Union.”
