On Sunday night, Petroula Hatzipantazi, an Expert Counselor on leave – on a mission in Tanzania for the Patriarchate of Alexandria – died of injuries she suffered when persons in a passing car attempted to snatch the backpack she was carrying.
Petroula Hatzipantazi, an Expert on health issues, was an exceptional member of the Ministry staff. For years she served as the Foreign Ministry doctor, providing invaluable support to her colleagues with professionalism.
