Irish European Affairs Minister on working visit to Greece at the invitation of Deputy FM Kourkoulas

The president of the EU General Affairs Council, Irish European Affairs Minister Lucinda Creighton, will be in Greece on 12 And 13 February, at the invitation of Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas.

At 09:30 on Wednesday, 13 February, Mr. Kourkoulas and Ms. Creighton will be received by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. At 10:00, they will go to the Hellenic Parliament, where they will participate in a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees on European Affairs and Defence and Foreign Affairs (Senate Hall).

At 11:30, Mr. Kourkoulas and Ms. Creighton will make statements to the news media at the Foreign Ministry’s Seferis Hall, 1 Vas. Sofias Ave.

At 12:00 they will attend the signing ceremony for the Greek-Italian-Albanian Intergovernmental Agreement on the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, at the Foreign Ministry.

Finally, at 13:00, Mr. Kourkoulas will host a working luncheon in honor of Ms. Creighton and her delegation.
