Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis to attend the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs (Brussels, 03-04.04.2024)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will travel tomorrow, Wednesday, April 3, to Brussels, where he will participate in the two-day Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

The top agenda items of tomorrow's session are the war in Ukraine and security in the Southern Neighborhood in view of the NATO Summit to be held in Washington on 9-11 July.

Mr. Gerapetritis will then attend an event hosted by the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of NATO’s founding.

On Thursday, April 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend a special ceremony to mark NATO’s 75th anniversary.

Subsequently, Mr. Gerapetritis will participate in the NATO-Ukraine Council, in the presence of Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.

Lastly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting with partners from the Indo-Pacific region, namely Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea, in the presence of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.
