Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will visit tomorrow, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the Republic of Cyprus, on his first official visit abroad since assuming his duties as Head of Greek Diplomacy.
First, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides.
The Minister will then have a one-on-one meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, Constantinos Kombos, followed by expanded talks between the two delegations.
The two Foreign Ministers will make joint statements to the press at approximately 11:15.
This will be followed by a joint working lunch.
Talks are expected to focus on developments in the Cyprus issue, as well as on bilateral relations and issues of regional and multilateral cooperation that the two countries have developed in collaboration with other States in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Among others, EU issues and current international developments, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, are expected to be discussed as well.
