Ministry of Foreign Affairs announcement on the passing of Ambassador emeritus Karolos Gadis

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sadness about the passing of Ambassador emeritus Karolos Gadis.

Karolos Gadis entered the Diplomatic Field in 1980 and represented Greece serving, inter alia, as Minister-Counsellor in Ankara and Washington, as the Head of the Greek Liaison Office in Pristina, as Ambassador in Sarajevo, as well as Director of the critical political Directorate for relations with Russia, at the Central Service. Throughout the course of his career, he stood out for his industriousness and his professionalism, his devotion to duty and his unparalleled ethos.

The whole of the political and civil leadership, as well as the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs express sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
