The National Council on Foreign Policy (NCFP) will convene at the Foreign Ministry at 15:00 on Monday, 27 January 2014, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos.
The agenda for the meeting includes issues concerning the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union, within the framework of CFSP, ESDP, Enlargement policy, and the European Neighbourhood Policy; Greek-Turkish relations and the latest developments in the Cyprus issue; the situation in the Middle East, with emphasis on the Syrian crisis and on Iran; and Greece’s bilateral relations with the countries of the Western Balkans, through the prism of their European perspective.
