NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will carry out a visit to Greece on Thursday, 16 February 2012, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Greece’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on 18 February 2012.
Within the framework of this 60th anniversary, Foreign Minister Stavros Dimas and NATO Secretary General Rasmussen will speak at 10:50 on Thursday at a conference entitled, “Greece and NATO: present and future,” which is being organized by the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) at the Athens Concert Hall.
Mr. Dimas will meet with Mr. Rasmussen at 12:55 at the Foreign Ministry. They will then make statements to the news media and have a working luncheon.
