A Meeting of the Political Directors of the Foreign Ministries of Greece, Egypt and Cyprus took place in Athens today, in a follow-up to the first such meeting, which took place in Cairo, in November 2013.
These meetings were initiated last year, following a relevant decision by the Foreign Ministers, with the aim of developing closer cooperation between the three countries.
This cooperation, as is the expressed will of the Foreign Ministers, will not only function to the benefit of the three countries, but it also aims at contributing to restoring a climate of stability and peace in the wider region.
