On May 28th 1979 the Treaty of Accession of Greece to the European Communities was signed at the Zappeion Megaron in Athens. 16/28 April 1842. The first Consul of Greece in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) is appointed. It is Ηenri Riedy, a French (Royal Decree 16 April 1842, Government Gazette 1/1843). 24 April 1967. "Greek blood on the fascist dictatorship". The Italian Ambassador in Athens E. Grazzi, in a article published in Rome's newspaper Giornale del Matino after the end of the War, describes how he handed the Italian ultimatum to I. Metaxas. One of the 21 letters-articles by the Italian Ambassador, published between July-August 1945, that the Service of Diplomatic and Historical Archives published in Greek in a volume in 2008, entitled “Grazzi writes about the Italian attack against Greece”.
10 August 1915. Eleftherios Venizelos informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that King Constantine appointed him Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, following the Liberal Party’s victory in the elections of 31st May 1915 [Service of Diplomatic and Historical Archives, Central Service Archives 1915, F.
