Hospitalization

Greek Citizens who have been hospitalized abroad, are able to present relevant hospitalization documents (invoices, medical reports) to the nearest Greek Consular Authority, in order to certify and submit them to the competent insurance entity in Greece.

If they are located in Greece, they can alternatively submit the hospitalization documents for certification, through the H2 Directorate for Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the Greek Consular Authority of the country in which the hospitalization occurred. Thereafter, the aforementioned competent Authority will forward the certified documents to the relevant insurance entity in Greece.
