Stavros Dimas is the new Foreign Minister of Greece

Stavros C. Dimas has studied law and economics in Greece and the USA and has worked as a lawyer for the World Bank and Sullivan & Cromwell, a Wall Street Law Firm.

He has been elected to the Greek Parliament ten consecutive times since 1977 and has held leading posts in Greek politics. Since 2010 he is the vice president of New Democracy.
