A trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Greece, the Republic of Cyprus and Lebanon will be held on Thursday, 15 April, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the context of the meeting, the three countries’ Ministers of Foreign Affairs will have private and then expanded talks, followed by statements to the press at about 12:00.
The talks are expected to focus on strengthening trilateral political and economic cooperation – including the response to the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and Lebanon-EU cooperation – as well as on regional developments, with emphasis on the Eastern Mediterranean, Libya and Syria.
In this context, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias is expected to have separate bilateral meetings with his Cypriot counterpart, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, Charbel Wehbé.
