Ministry of Foreign Affairs announcement on the attack on the Embassy of Italy (Athens, 3 February 2019)

We unequivocally condemn tonight’s attack at the building of the Embassy of Italy, which resulted in material damages.

Unacceptable actions of this kind do not impact the excellent relations nor the long-standing ties of friendship between Greece and Italy.

The competent Greek authorities are taking all necessary action to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.
