Between two homelands: The Armenians of Greece during the Second World War

On November 8, 2024, at the Yerevan State University, in the forecourt of the "Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian" library, the photographic exhibition entitled: Between Two Homelands: The Armenians of Greece during the Second World War, was inaugurated.

The opening of the exhibition, which will remain available to the public for 2 weeks, was prefaced by the Ambassador of Greece, Mr. C. Sofianopoulos, while the following event was graced with the presence of the Rector of Yerevan State University, Mr. H. Hovhannisyan, Head of the EU Delegation in Armenia, Mr. B. Maragkos, Armenian government officials, representatives of Armenian academia and students of the University.

The exhibition was preceded by a presentation by the Greek Ambassador to the students of the Department of International Relations of the Yerevan State University, regarding the bilateral relations between Greece and Armenia.
