Embassy’s participation in exhibition of children's paintings dadicated by ancient Greek mythology.

On September 7, 2021, an exhibition of children's paintings was held at the Union of Greek Artists of Armenia, organized jointly by the President of the Hellenic Community of Armenia, Ms. Maria Lazareva, and the President of the TOTAL ART organization, honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Mrs. Anna Hartoutian. The subject of the exhibition was the ancient Greek mythology in the framework of which 80 works of children, of Armenian and Greek origin, from various school fine arts of Armenia were presented.

The exhibition was honored by the presence of the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Armenia, Mr. Evangelos Tournakis, the Consul Mr. Emmanouil Asimakopoulos and the Defense Attache, Mr. Gerasimos Avlonitis. The exhibition was also attended by Mrs. Naira Kilitsian from the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture of Armenia, and Mrs. Narine Gulian from the Committee on National Minorities.

The Greek Ambassador, at the beginning of the exhibition, addressed a greeting message, in which he thanked the organizers for the invitation and wished every success in future initiatives. Mr. Tournakis also underlined, among other things, the historical, religious and cultural ties that unite the two countries and stressed the importance of organizing such events for the further strengthening of Armenian-Greek relations.
