Visit of Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Katsaniotis to Armenia (Yerevan, October 28-30). Participation in the works of the "Global Armenian Summit" and the Tripartite Meeting of Greece-Cyprus-Armenia

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Katsaniotis,visited Armenia from 28 to 30 March. Mr. Katsaniotis addressed a speech to the opening of the annual "Global Armenian Summit" (of the Global Armenian Diaspora Conference. Deputy Foreign Minister held, on the 28th of October,, a meeting with his counterpart, the Armenian High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Zareh Sinanyan, in the form of a tripartite format with the participation of the Cyprus Presidency Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Emigrant Issues Mr. Fotis Fotiou.

As part of the visit, Mr. Deputy Minister also paid a visit to the Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism in Yerevan, where he received a warm welcome from the students of the College who are taught the Greek language and addressed a greeting on the occasion of the celebration of the national anniversary of October 28. He also held a meeting with the President of the Union of Greek Communities of Armenia, Mrs. Lazareva, with whom they reviewed all the issues that concern the Greek diaspora of Armenia and its actions. The visit ended with a visit to the Yerevan Genocide Memorial and then with a tour of the Genocide Museum.
