3rd annual Eurovillage (19.09.2015)

The Delegation of the European Union organized the 3rd annual “Eurovillage”, a fun introduction of European traditions and culture for Baku residents. The event took place in Baku Old City on September 19, 2015 and was attended by a large number of visitors. The E.U. countries presented at their national pavilions images of their culture and tradition, with tastes and activities such as quiz, traditional food and beverages etc.  Songs, traditional dances and recipes were also demonstrated on the main stage. The students of the Program of Greek Language of the Slavic University of Baku performed a traditional Greek dance with an enthusiastic welcome of the audience. During the presentation of local flavors of Europe, three greek recipes were prepared using original greek products, such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Feta cheese, which the audience had the opportunity to taste.
